17. What are those things under Reno's eyes?

Much has been written in many fanfics about this (including my original one where I mentioned self-inflicted tatts, and now, in Chs 8/9 where I link it to Corneo's organisation due to BC 2 Guns having a hair lock that looks like it could be a tatt even though I know it isn't ;-] ). They have been likened to goggle impressions, scars and tatts.

Squeenix has never said. In the original FFVII pics, they did look a lot like goggle impressions, but in AC they look more permanent, like tatts. Either way, they're a little silly, but they're a part of what makes Reno, Reno.

18. But *insert comment here* in Crisis Core !

I did not, to start with, take the game Crisis Core into account at all when writing this story. Firstly, the game was still in development when I started this rewrite, and I didn't feel like waiting for the details.

Secondly, it's mostly Zack and Sephiroth's story so it wasn't as relevant to my story, I thought. Yes, the character I've named Dallas now has her own part in that game, and yes, Tseng, Rude and Reno get involved.

Nevertheless I would send myself nuts if I tried to re-edit what I've already done to suit. So if there is an anomaly in date, detail or time to do with this game, live with it. As far as I'm concerned, that game doesn't exist, except where what I know of it serves what I've already done or planned, or is easily included (Dallas' pseudonym of "Cissnei"--she says in CC it's not her real name--for example, or her relationship with Zack).
